About Valeria's
Shipmates
Okay so we're really not THAT bad...the pics were cute...
Ahem...
In the S.C.A. one does not literally have to have a body for every position on the ship. If like calls to like enough it can happen but for now there are only 5 members of the crew that aren't imaginary (four plus myself). Allow me to introduce them to you...
Captain Isaiah Kane
Captain Kane is a Brittish sailor from a time period known as 'Elizabethan'. Most of the time he is a passionate man and governs the crew well. Others, he is a pompous pretentious Brit (but hey that's my personal opinion.) I love him dearly one way or another.
He is much better at politics and courtly behaviour than I and so the joke with the crew is that he holds my leash to keep me from getting us all hung as pirates (since we do not currently hold a letter of marque). My job is to translate his flowery speeches into short sentences the crew will understand (translator). Together we are dangerous....
Terrance The Cowardly
Ahh... the Ship's Cook Terrance. (soon to be promoted to Navigator as soon as we can replace him as Cook!!!) The man is often a source of amusement for the entire crew (usually when I'm threatening to keel-haul him for yet another meal of 'turtle' soup). He is our token Norman amongst the crew. He favours the yellow stripe in all his clothing as if it were a trademark and is in truth my dearest friend and confident.
Dalphine LaLonde
Dalphine is Assistant to the Ship's Cook (where she does less damage). She is Terrance's Lady and an excellent seamstress. She is thus far a quiet addition to the crew so therefore hard for me to describe fully. However, if I know this crew that will change shortly...
Anabladh Inghean Dho'Mhnuill
Anabladh is one of my oldest and dearest friends. She has just recently been appointed to our crew as my personal assistant...(spy). Much to our Captain's regret...(snicker)....
