My Thoughts On
Kingdom Twelfth Night
'Twas a beautiful day and there we were each of us in an attempt at Greco-Roman garb....
I myself spent the day on troll for the most part (I like working troll because I find I get to meet a lot of people). Although a small event we somehow managed to have alot of fun. The feast as always was excellent (Wassail Lady Melusine and staff!).
Working the event I missed a great many occurances but I did manged to see some of the boffer challenges. It was light hearted and fun as we hoped it would be. I was not able to view a lot of the the chariot races personally but I understand Isaiah did rather well. :)
From troll all we could hear was a lot of shouting and laughter, so I'll have to take my shipmate's word on that....
The King and Queen of Misrule, were a (naughty) laugh a minute...our thanks go to them for providing us with a wonderful time and many rounds of rauchus laughter! :)
Twelfth Night is one of the events I look forward to every year since we started attending them. It is a day of foolery and relaxation (in other words I fit in for a change!)
This was the first time a Kingdom Twelfth Night has been tried in quite some time from what I've been told. Attendance was low due to many reasons and we did not make any money on this event. That however, did not and will not daunt us from doing future events.'
